I’ve had this unique Alpine for about one year now is a complete pleasure to use I really do try and find as much time as I can to use it but still it has its limits because of its sheer size and weight is only any good for target shooting, and in an ideal world I have tried to use it for foxing and some deerstalking from a vehicle, but due to the size and the way my land I am unable to shoot over I find it very difficult to use a rifle of this type.

After going to a gun show I walked past the desert tactical Arms stand and saw their stealth recon Scout, it’s sad to say but it was almost love at first sight that really does sound wrong but you people who understand guns will understand what I mean this had all the capabilities of us full-size sniper rifle but in a compact size that could be used deerstalking, so my task began to try and find a desert tactical Arms stealth recon Scout, and oh boy oh boy was this a difficult task as they have not been in this country for that long and people seem to really want Keep hold of them.

I tried the obvious places like gun trader and all the other blogs and noticeboards and forums but there wasn’t any anywhere I was fortunate enough to be contacted from the people at Desert tactical Arms, who made me aware of a chap that had passed away unfortunately, and he had had this rifle modified for the exact purpose that I required it. He had had the barrel lightened so for ease of manoeuvrability and be out carrying it for long periods,
