Prom night at bury lodge

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

All the reports so far are that the prom night at bury lodge went smoothly, and everyone had a great night, Since under new management bury lodge seams to have taken a turn for the better, they are investing in new furnishings including 300 wonderful new banqueting chairs supplied by H@ME Stansted,

they also at great expense and care had the inside completely redecorated giving the place a whole new fresh feeling, finished in a brillant white the main hall at bury lodge is looking better than ever.

The efforts for the lodge are by no means over, as the refurbishment continues over the next year.

We are glad to so that bury lodge is be brought back to life, the hard efforts of Teresa, are paying off….. well done!

I also hear that there is something new to be offered in the wedding venue pack, the Bury Lodge wedding venue Cocktail waiter, supplying your wedding guests with something interesting to drink after there lovely meal…

Right next to Stansted Airport, having a wedding here at bury lodge couldn’t be easier your guest can fly in and be 2mins from the terminal, or drive down on the fast dedicated roads designer for easy and quick access for stansted airport.

VIP guests could even fly in the the exclusive Harrods terminal which can almost be seen from the wedding lodge, where the likes of David Beckham fly out of all the time… I  be leave Sir Alan Sugar keeps his own private Jet within a 5min walk from the Bury lodge. Now that would be the most amazing way to arrive at you wedding at the lodge, just ask Sir Alan, for a lift!

To give you an idea of how close bury lodge is to the airport the rear boundary is the fence to stansted airport, have a look here at a satelite view

Front Elevation of Bury Lodge Wedding Venue Essex

Here are some of my ideas of what to do at the new and exciting Essex Wedding Venue called Bury Lodge right next to stansted airport,

I propose that the reception sign to be removed, and a plane 3d stainless sign made from brushed stainless steel be to put in its place ( cost £675),

This style of letters for the Entrance to Bury Lodge estate

and either side of the door way a pair of Large Brushed Stainless Steel Planters Or Extra Large Stone Planter with Artificial Box trees in

This is an example of the type of planter to be either side of the entrance to bury Lodge

them High Grade planters and Commercial Quality artificial Plants. There currently is Little or no light on the exterior of the barn and there should be at least some high quality spot lights on the entrance (cost £___)

This syle of lights either side of the entrance to illuminate the plants and eaves

Existing Entrance to Bury Lodge

Moving into reception I propose the Disabled toilets to be completely removed and relocated in the rear of the barn where there already is unused toilets, so freeing up the reception.

Both remaing doors to be replaced with wide Rustic oak plank doors. ( £165 each  supply only) plus furniture.

Planked oak door with heavy door furniture to suit

I also propose to remove the mezzanine floor above which currently is accessible through the disabled toilets, so exposing the wonderful and best assets of this period building, the beautiful Oak timber construction.

This will get you the wow factor, required on the first entry to the building.

3 graduating spherical chandeliers to give the wow factor on entrance

The stud wall I propose to be removed and replace with some old reclaimed oak timber stud work (similar to the construction of the building), between each stud i propose that there should be etched glass giving the main hall more natural light and still retaining the receptions privacy, the glass will stop being etched at about 6ft and continue up to about 8 – 9ft the height of the stud work.

Similar to this but glazing in between and NOT finished in this colour

In this new reception I propose at Large Classic reception desk (Desk £995) with only a monitor keyboard and phone viable, also to the side of this reception desk there would be a large spray of Artificial flowers in large glass vase (Flowers £295 Vase £54).

This is a small sample of a flower bouquet that we would be suppling

This is one of a few different colours and styles in tube chairs in reception

Coffee table in the reception of bury Lodge Manor

Large Bouquet for reception in extra large glass Vase

Also in the reception area there would be 2no. classic/mirrors (£245 and £295) another large and very impressive flower bouquet in large glass vase (flower £295 & Vase £54) and various Tub chairs (£583 each) and a Rustic oak coffee table ( £293) This is where the figures and wedding plans can be disguised. next to this area the will be a glass fronted display case(£675) which would house a array of rentable table flower decorations for the customer to see.

200 chairs silver grey brushed frames with clear over laquer

round table 060 4no.

tresle r folding table R3072 15- 20no.

outside benches and tables 5no.

2.5ft x 4ft basic tables 8

Here are some sample prices  of furniture I would like to see in Bury Lodge wedding venue for the new year coming,
