Add a classic touch to your dining area, or a striking centrepiece to your home, with a Lloyd Loom table. The refined weave of the material sets Lloyd Loom tables apart from other, more conventional, table designs. A Lloyd Loom table also provides an instant talking point for visitors to your business or home. Lloyd Loom products are so adaptable, we guarantee there’s something here for everyone, whether you’re looking for a coffee table, end table, or something for the whole family to sit round.

Lloyd Loom Tables: Unusual and Interesting

Cube, Soho, and Brooklyn 130 Lloyd Loom tables make an attention-grabbing alternative to run-of-the-mill coffee tables and end tables, adding a touch of class to any room.

There is even a table from our Brooklyn range specially designed to house your television or hi-fi, a stylish addition to any home, and of course made using the classic Lloyd Loom process.

If you are looking for a larger table, we have the Brighton 60, Jersey, and Brooklyn Lloyd Loom tables. All of these models make ideal side or end tables, and of course they compliment our range of Lloyd Loom chairs, armchairs, sofas and accessories beautifully. The Ping Pong and Pong designs make excellent bedside tables, with Ping Pong combining two tables in one for convenience and efficiency of space.

As for dining tables, we have a variety of Lloyd Loom table designs which will satisfy all tastes and requirements. From the small Bistro model to the Snowdon 150, the largest of our Lloyd Loom tables, we are confident there is something on offer to suit everybody. And if Lloyd Loom tables really aren’t to your taste, or you’re looking for something even bigger, then our largest table is made of solid oak. We can also supply oak table tops, for additional protection of the smaller tables.

History of Lloyd Loom.

The ledgendary Lloyd Loom process was invented in 1917 by the American Marshall B lloyd, who twisted kraft paper round metal wire, placed the paper threads on a loom and wove them into what was to become the traditional Lloyd Loom fabric. Lloyd Loom chairs quickly became very popular in America and in 1921 the patent was osld to an English manufacturer, which used Lloyd Loom in an original manner to create a collection of typical English furniture.

Lloyd Loom furniture could be found in hotels, restaurants and tea rooms, as well as aboard zeppelins and cruise liners. When the factory in England was bombed at the end of the Second World War, the production of Lloyd Loom chairs came to a halt in Europe.

Lloyd Loom garden furniture collection.

Our new outdoor Lloyd Loom collection enables you to enjoy traditional Lloyd Loom seating comfort around the pool, courtyard or the garden.

To make the chairs resistant to damp, they are first dipped in a bath of latex. This protective layer is then baked on in a kiln. Finally the chairs are given a finishing coat of moisture- resistant lacquer in the colour of the customers choice. The hand welded aluminium frames make these outdoor chairs particularly sturdy and ultra lightweight, which also means they are extremely easy to handle. They will stand up to anything the weather and wind can throw at them during the summer months. To enable you extend the life of your garden furniture for as long as possible, we recommend that you bring the chairs indoors during the cold, damp winter months.

Lloyd Loom chairs

Lloyd Loom chairs and armchairs

Loom chairs made of paper are something very peculiar. Moreover they are very functional and a pleasure to look at. Lloyd Loom chairs have been manufactured in Great Britain ever since the beginning of the 20th century according to the patent procedure of M.B. Lloyd. From the moment they were first made available to the public, Lloyd Loom chairs have become increasingly popular and are, today, well-known throughout the world.
Chairs of this kind can be purchased in different places. However, especially older ones can only be acquired through the help of antiquarians. Lloyd Loom chairs dating back several decades are very popular among people who like antiques. For this reason, they have become very rare, and, therefore, quite expensive.
GoIn has been manufacturing Lloyd Loom chairs for more than 16 years and owns all the trademark rights of this extraordinary piece of furniture.
The tradition and the legendary renown of M.B. Lloyd is, therefore, kept alive by our ensemble of chairs known under the name Lusty Lloyd Loom Original.
Lloyd Loom chairs are manufactured by well-trained experts. Those experts assemble kraft paper coated metal and a robust wooden frame to make the unique Loom chairs and tables. If they are treated with care, your furniture items can last for decades.

Lloyd Loom chairs – the solution for your patio

Lloyd Loom chairs can be equally used outside as long as there is some kind of roof you can put them under when you are not using them.
If you want to use this kind of furniture for gastronomical purposes or in a hotel, it should be made sure that unvarnished chairs are finished before placing them outside. The paint will not only make sure your chairs match the colors of the surrounding area but it will also make sure they are protected from damage by water, humidity, dust, and dirt.
When purchasing Lloyd Loom chairs, you will be given a wide range of colors to choose from. Please note that despite the use of colors according to the RAL color space system differences can occur. If you are using your Lloyd Loom chairs for gastronomical purposes (i.e. in restaurants, bars, hotels, etc.) we will be happy to provide you with adequate paint to repair minor damages at no extra charge.
Not only are Lloyd Loom chairs comfortable but they are also quite resistant. The only thing you should avoid is sitting on their armrests because those are not made to withstand heavy weight.
The foremost advantage of Lloyd Loom chairs in comparison with osier or rattan chairs is the fact that there is no risk of damage for clothes or nylons caused by irregularities of frame or seat. Moreover, the frame or a Lloyd Loom chair is very solidly built so you won’t hear any creaking or crunching when sitting down. Finally, the seat made by different strands of metal woven together and coated by kraft paper is very comfortable since it adjusts itself to the weight of the person sitting in the chair.

The following combinations in materials are available for your Lloyd Loom chairs:

rattan and Loom-mesh

hardwood and Loom-mesh

beech and Loom-mesh

rattan, teak and Loom-mesh

The following kinds of seating furniture are available:

Lloyd Loom chairs

Lloyd Loom armchairs

Lloyd Loom stools

Lloyd Loom bar stools

Lloyd Loom tables

Which kinds of restaurant furnishings are best matched by Lloyd Loom furniture?

Lloyd Loom furniture items go very well with the Southern atmosphere of, for instance, Italian restaurants and pizzerias. They fit equally well in with the candid and lifestyle-oriented atmosphere of lounges and designer hotels. And last but not least, Lloyd Loom chairs are a perfect match for both a tasteful English chalet and any kind of patio or winter garden. Please note that it is advisable to put Lloyd Loom chairs only on patios that can provide shelter against rain and snow. If you keep that in mind you can be sure to have purchased the adequate seating furniture for your restaurant patio and chairs that will last for decades.
From the beginning, Lloyd Loom chairs have been admired for their unique and beautiful, yet functional design. Marshall Burns Lloyd was one of the pioneers of design furniture in his days. His name will be eternally linked to Lloyd Loom chairs and armchairs.
